Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Worker for Sunday mornings from 9am to 11am. As a Nursery Worker, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure their safety at all times
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and maintaining cleanliness of the nursery area
- Create a positive and nurturing environment for children to thrive in
- Collaborate with other nursery staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance
- Follow established protocols for emergency situations or medical needs
- Foster positive relationships with parents/guardians through effective communication
Requirements:
- Previous experience in early childhood education, nannying, infant care, babysitting, or caregiving is preferred
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents/guardians, and other staff members
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
-Must pass a background check and Safe Gatherings Certification
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.30 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
